This is an awesome series. Even though it was intended for children, this book is great for all ages. Whether you're an 8 year-old kid forced to read this for school, or a 81 year-old senior citizen looking for something to do, Harry Potter is great for you. The fantasy world that Rowling paints is amazing. It will captivate you from the very first word you read.
Along for the Ride, Sarah Dessen
This is a book I just read, and I really liked the author's writing style. It's about an academic, follow-the-rules, social-lifeless type of girl who, on a whim, goes to her divorced father and new wife's house. Over the summer, she watches what happened between her parents happen between her father and his new wife, and also makes new friends. She also meets a guy who helps her to live the childhood she never really had. That is sort of cheesy, but, I promise, the book is really good. :)

Sister Wife Shelley Hrdlitschka
I really enjoyed this book. It's about a girl who lives in a family with her father, his three wives and their 6-8 children. In their country area, the rules are that a girl who is 15 should be married. The marriage is decided at church, where the priest selects a groom for the girl. Unfortunately, she falls in love with a certain boy who persists in running away from home. She does not accept the boy's offer, but, in the end, he runs off and she ends up marrying his father. If you read the rest of the story, I bet you'll agree that this book is awesome!

Mortal Instrument Series Cassandra Clare
This series is about a 16-year-old girl named Clary that is hanging out with her friend, Simon, when all of a sudden they run into a murder scene involving Jace, Alec and his sister, Isabelle. Soon after, Clary's house is raided by a monster, her mother goes missing and Jace helps her escape and takes him back to his home, the "Institute". The rest of the three books forms the story how Clary is one of them, specifically a Shadowhunter and how her background and family story is revealed to her. Many of you have read this series, but for the ones who haven't read it yet, YOU MUST READ!!

Yep. I should start reading this. Sounds exciting

House of Night Series P.C and Kristin Cast
This series is like a vamp series, except not like Twilight. It's about a girl named Zoey Redbird, who gets marked with a blue crescent moon on her forehead. This symbolizes that she is marked as a vampire and she must go to the House of Night as her new school. She moves to the school and makes new friends immediately. Zoey is an interesting vampire as she can control earth, water, fire and air, which no other vampire can do. As you read through the series, you see the problems and hurdles that Zoey faces. Once you read the first book, you'll be dying to read the rest of them!

Time's Arrow Martin Amis
Reading Time's Arrow is probably going to feel like no other feeling you had when reading another book. Not because it's extremely good (although I do think it is) or disturbing (it can be at times), but that it shows events in reverse. Everything. The point of view is of another consciousness in someone's body. The book opens up to a dying (living?) elderly man who wakes up to a nurse who gave him the kiss of life. Slowly it shows the rest of the man's life - I'd say more, but it would spoil the book. When I first picked it up and read the first paragraph, I was pretty much hooked and I don't think I could stand it if I couldn't read the end. It's a very interesting perspective, and even though it's a bit mature (swearing, 'adult' content [not detailed]), I'd recommend it to all (with the maturity of the) ages 15 and up.

The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants Ann Brashares
This series is about 4 girls who were best friends since their childhood, like their mothers. The reason the title "The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants" was given to this series is because, somehow, all four girls were able to fit into one pair of jeans. The pants were a bond that always brought the four girls together, but not for long. This book is targeted more at the girls than the guys, so I'm sure that the girls will read it. But for the guys, give it a try if you really want to!

The Hunger Games Trilogy Suzanne Collins
The first book was pretty awsome. Stunning.

The 39 Clues Rick Riordan/Patrick Carmen/Jude Watson/Linda Sue Park/Gordon Korman/Margaret Petterson Haddix
Wondrous Strange Lesley Livington
Genre: Romance
A beautifully crafted book that takes place in New York City. The main character, Kelly Winslow, is a normal girl, or so she thinks. This book is based on Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Most of all, this author is Canadian! I have only read the first book in this sequel,Wondrous Strange, I never got the chance to read the other ones.
aaaaasuggest or review a book.
